Magnolia Grandiflora Oakley, commonly known as the southern magnolia is a tree of the family Magnoliaceae native to the southeastern United States, from Virginia south to central Florida, and west to eastern Texas and Oklahoma.
A magnificent evergreen tree with large, glossy dark green leaves with attractive, rusty-brown undersides. Open-branched pyramidal form makes an excellent shade tree. Huge cup-shaped flowers.
